Spacious is a curated music platform focused on ambient and meditative music for focus and flow. It's designed for listeners, facilitators, and artists who value depth, authentic expression, and artistic integrity in sound. Spacious is built by musicians, for musicians, and we're designing this platform to be as artist-friendly as possible. We all know that the current streaming economy is broken, and we're doing things differently.

Spacious is a curated platform. Artists are invited to join and upload music after approval through a simple invitation process. This ensures a high-quality, coherent experience for all listeners.

Artists who are invited to contribute to the platform create an artist profile and upload their content through the web-based artist dashboard.

The money a user pays for their subscription is allocated to the artists they actually listen to. Payouts are calculated based on total listen time, not number of plays. This incentivises deeper listening experiences over short tracks. Because the platform is curated, there is a smaller pool of artists to divide the proceeds between. This ensures fair, meaningful compensation beyond the normal 'fractions of a penny per play'.
